Accounting

The monthly close and financial statements, done right, working alongside the bookkeeper you already have.

What it is

Bookkeeping records every transaction. Accounting is what turns those records into numbers you can rely on: a monthly close on a set schedule, adjusting entries, account reviews, and financial statements that are accurate and on time.

This is the controller function. Someone is accountable for the books being right, and a P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement land in your inbox every month in plain terms. If a bank or a buyer asks for numbers, you can send them the same day.

If you already have a bookkeeper or a team member doing the day-to-day entries, we work alongside them, review their work, and take over the close. If you would like us to handle the bookkeeping and payroll as well, see Fractional Controller.
